This amazing cavern system has many fascinating rooms to explore on the cave tour. Some spaces are relatively large and some are a bit small. Be prepared to duck under some lower cave ceilings or through narrow passages to explore this amazing natural Florida wonder.
This amazing cavern system was originally under the ocean! Thirty-eight million years of flowing water etched through the limestone. As the waters receded, the limestone caves were drained providing refuge for wildlife and humans alike.
There’s so much more to do at Florida Caverns State Park.
